About the estate
The Ohler estate cultivates 7.8 hectares of vineyards with soils consisting predominantly of colored sandstone with varying amounts of limestone and clay. Riesling accounts for the largest share of the grape varieties, followed by Pinot varieties, particularly Pinot Gris. The winery operates close to nature, avoids herbicides, and has converted plant protection to organic farming. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, and additives in the wine cellar are kept to a minimum. Except for a few cuvées, all wines are vinified as single-varietal wines and present themselves as authentic, acid-driven wines.
