About the estate

The Obermoser estate is a family-run winery located in Bolzano, South Tyrol, dating back to 1890. Spanning four hectares of vineyards within the DOC areas of Santa Maddalena and Lake Caldaro, the property has been cultivated across five generations with a focus on native grape varieties such as Schiava and Lagrein. Viticulture is practiced using the traditional pergola system, followed by aging in predominantly large oak barrels. Producing 32000 bottles annually, the winery distributes its wines locally as well as internationally across Europe.
