About the estate
The Oberfurner estate in Villanders looks back on a long history in the Eisack Valley, where winemaking has been practiced since ancient times. The winery is run by three brothers who work hand in hand as a farmer, cellar master, and in marketing and sales. The steep, southeast-facing vineyards extend from 550 to 700 meters above sea level and feature mineral-rich, clayey soils. Thanks to the alpine climate, numerous hours of sunshine, and significant temperature differences, powerful and expressive white wines of the Alto Adige DOC denomination are produced.
