About the estate
The Weingut Larcherhof estate has been managed by the Egger-Spögler family in Rentsch near Bolzano since 1893 and looks back on a centuries-old history. Across a total cultivation area of five hectares, the winery cultivates various grape varieties using natural methods. The vineyards are located in the classic Santa Maddalena area, where varieties like Lagrein thrive on warm porphyry soils. Since 2008, the site- and variety-typical wines have been vinified and bottled by Hans Jochen Spögler. The almost Mediterranean climate provides ideal conditions for characterful red, rosé, and white wines.
