About the estate

The Weingut Künstler estate cultivates vineyards in the Rheingau region, located mainly in Hochheim am Main, alongside additional plots in Rüdesheim and Assmannshausen. The winery is dedicated to a craft-based approach centered on harmony with nature and the expression of terroir. Cultivated grape varieties primarily include Riesling and Spätburgunder, which thrive in traditional sites such as Hochheimer Hölle and Reichestal. The regional soils are heavily characterized by clay marl, loess-loam, slate, and quartzite. These geological conditions give rise to mineral-driven, powerful, and long-lived wines.

The eno directory lists 37 wines, mostly from Riesling and Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
