The Weingut Karthäuserhof, Christoph Meier estate manages a more than 600-year-old farm in Mainz-Hechtsheim, with its first documentary mention in 1421. The Meier family runs the historic estate, making it the only winery to offer estate-grown wines from both the Rheingau and Rheinhessen regions. The portfolio includes Spätburgunder, Riesling in various styles including sparkling wine, and Pinot Gris. Today, the winery produces its wines directly at the historic home base, which also houses the wine cellar and direct sales.
