About the estate

The Weingut J. Bettenheimer estate, located in Ingelheim am Rhein in the Rheinhessen wine region, focuses on Pinot varieties and Silvaner. Many of the vineyards, which are over 30 years old, are meticulously farmed by hand, supported by scientific insights into sustainable plant protection. The grapes are harvested by hand into small containers and processed without any pumping. In the new winery building situated on a stony sunny slope in Ober-Ingelheim, the white and red wines mature on the full lees in wooden barrels, stainless steel tanks, and granite egg fermenters.
