About the estate
The Hans Rottensteiner winery was founded in 1956 by grandfather Hans and is today managed collaboratively by the family. The vineyards cover ten hectares of land in Bolzano in Trentino-Alto Adige, where the vines thrive on the region's characteristic porphyry soil. The portfolio includes white and red varieties, with a clear focus on the typical regional wines Lagrein and Santa Maddalena under the Alto Adige DOC denomination. The cellar practices combine traditional large oak casks with modern stainless steel tanks and barriques. The wines are distributed through specialized retailers and restaurants in Italy as well as internationally.
