About the estate
The Frosch winery cultivates vineyards in the Rheingau region at the confluence of the Rhine and Main rivers. Well-known vineyard sites of the estate include Kostheimer St. Kiliansberg, Kostheimer Steig, and Kostheimer Weiß Erd. On diverse soils featuring clayey limestone and marl, sandy gravel, and loess-loam, the estate produces aromatic wines with a distinct acidic structure. The local climatic conditions of the area promote an early grape maturation.
