About the estate
The Weingut Falkenstein estate is located in Naturns, South Tyrol, with a farm history documented as early as the 12th century. On 14 hectares of vineyards situated on terraced southern and western slopes at altitudes between 600 and 900 meters, the family-run winery cultivates grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Noir. Vinification takes place in the cellar, while the white wines mature in large acacia wood barrels within the rock cellar. Around 90,000 bottles are produced annually and distributed through national and international partners.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to importers and distributors. Export markets include Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland.
