About the estate

The Weinbau Philip Bernard estate in Erlenbach am Main is run by Philip Bernard in the third generation as a part-time operation, following its origins with grandfather Siegfried. The winery currently cultivates around 1.5 hectares of vineyards in the steep terraced sites of the Klingenberger Schlossberg in Franconia. Farming on the red sandstone soils of the listed terraced sites in Churfranken relies entirely on manual labor. A high quality of the wines is pursued through natural cultivation, healthy soils and vines, and targeted yield reduction. The pressing and storage of the grapes take place in the Mechenhard district.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir.
