About the estate
The family-run Weinbau Hess estate, operating across generations, cultivates three hectares of vineyards on the south-west slopes of the Schwanberg. The vineyards are located in the Küchenmeister, Schloßberg, and Schwanleite sites, where grape varieties such as Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir are grown. Driven by personal conviction, the estate maintains nature in balance, completely avoiding the use of herbicides and insecticides. Since 2012, the winery has been a full member of Bioland, producing exclusively organic wines with natural flavor profiles. Alongside traditional viticulture, the estate combines craftsmanship with new approaches to modern winemaking.
