About the estate

The Waltner winery located in Altenwörth in the Wagram region is managed as a family business in the fifth generation. At the center of their work is a biodynamic approach that combines traditional viticultural techniques with respect for natural cycles. To promote soil fertility and vitality, the winemakers rely on composting and special preparations. This regenerative approach creates a healthy environment for the vines in order to capture the character of the terroir in the wines.
