About the estate
The family-run Wagner estate is located in Leodagger in the Weinviertel region and has been managed for several generations. The vines take root on the slopes of the Manhartsberg on diverse soils composed of igneous rock, sand, clay, loess, gravel, and limestone. The moderate continental climate with Pannonian influences and cool down-slope winds from the Manhartsberg shapes the fresh and intense style of the wines. The portfolio includes Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt, among others. In the cellar, the winery focuses on gentle grape processing, controlled fermentation, and aging on the fine lees.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany and Czechia.
