About the estate
The Vins & Vignobles Julius SA winery is located in Salquenen in Valais and looks back on a long family tradition dating back to 1387. The estate is managed by Pierre-Alain Mathier, who selected his own parcels after time abroad in New York and London as well as an internship with Robert Mondavi in California. Building upon these family roots and the international experience he gained, he founded the company according to his own principles. The wines originate from the AOC Valais protected designation of origin in one of Switzerland's most prominent wine-growing regions.
