About the estate
The Vino Gaube estate looks back on a long winemaking history that began in 1895 with the construction of a vineyard house in the Štajerska Slovenija region. Following a temporarily interrupted production tradition, the family-run property resumed bottling its own wines in 1992. Today, the winery cultivates around nine hectares of vineyards in the Špičnik area. The production focuses on fresh, fruity, and varietally expressive wines, with grapes cultivated through extensive manual labor in the vineyards. In addition to still wines, the portfolio features sparkling wines produced using the traditional method as well as fuller, more mature selections.
The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.
