About the estate

The Vinhos Franco de Rui Franco estate is located in the historic Tejo wine region within the Bairro area. It cultivates around 28 hectares of vineyards, comprising both older vines with low yields and younger plots. The vineyards benefit from west-facing slope locations, a favorable microclimate, and diverse soil conditions. To protect the ecosystem, the winery follows integrated production guidelines with both manual and mechanical vineyard management. Harvesting is conducted manually and mechanically, and the wines are produced in a modernized winery facility that includes a barrel aging cellar.
