About the estate

The family-owned estate Quinta Monteiro de Matos, Lda, located in São Vicente de Paul in the Tejo region, was founded in the mid-20th century by António Monteiro de Matos. Two decades after its establishment, the founder expanded the vineyard area to meet a growing demand for the produced wines. Today, the third generation manages the family business, with products distributed to more than twenty countries. Export accounts for seventy-five percent of the group's sales volume. The portfolio ranges from entry-level wines to premium selections.
