About the estate

The Vinařství Žiška is a small family winery located in Jaroslavice that has been offering wines under its own label since 2017. Due to increased production, the majority of the grapes are purchased from long-standing partner winegrowers across the Znojmo, Mikulov and Slovácko wine sub-regions. The annual output amounts to just over 7,000 bottles, focusing on traditional grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Noir. Vinification follows a natural approach with fermentation in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels, accompanied by lees stirring. The resulting wines offer a fruity profile with a subtle expression of the terroir.
