About the estate
The Vinarija Varina estate is a small family winery in Serbia dedicated to producing traditional wines from indigenous grape varieties such as Prokupac and Tamjanika. The entire winemaking process takes place in a renovated century-old cellar built from natural materials including wood, straw, and mud. The grapes are harvested by hand and processed with great care to achieve exceptional flavors. Part of the vineyards features Belobrežina soil, composed of igneous rock and marl, which reflects sunlight and contributes to the even ripening of the grapes.
