About the estate

The Viña Tuelda, S.L. winery is located in Villatuelda within the Castilla y León region and operates under the Ribera del Duero DO designation. In 1998, the estate began producing its own wines using exclusively Tempranillo grapes. The vineyards are situated on clay and limestone soils at an altitude of 900 meters and range in age from 20 to 60 years. A unique microclimate characterized by harsh winters and hot summers, combined with limited yields achieved through manual pruning and harvesting, contributes to the profile of the wines. Harvesting is conducted by hand during the coolest hours of the day in small boxes, followed by temperature-controlled vinification in stainless steel tanks.
