About the estate

The Villa Mattielli winery was founded in 2009 by Roberta Roncolato alongside her husband Giacomo, continuing a family winemaking tradition spanning four generations. Spanning 30 hectares, the estate cultivates vineyards on the terraced hills of Soave and Valpolicella, as well as in the Illasi Valley. Traditional hand harvesting, careful bunch selection, and respect for nature form the foundation of their wine production. Indigenous white grape varieties such as Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave thrive on the tuffaceous volcanic and calcareous soils, alongside red varieties including Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta.
