About the estate

The Vignobles Jl Sylvain estate cultivates a vineyard area of 14 hectares in Lussac on an exceptional clay-limestone terroir. The history of the property dates back to the twelfth century when Cistercian monks planted the first vines on the limestone hillside. Since Jean-Luc Sylvain took over the property in 2003, the family has been running the estate in the fourth generation with a deep commitment to winemaking and woodcraft. The wines are aged in French oak barrels, focusing on authentic character and organic practices. The production includes wines from the Lussac-Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellations.
