About the estate

The family-run estate Vega de Ribes is managed by the Bartra and Roig family in sixteen documented generations, continuing a winemaking tradition that dates back to 1540. The origins of the historic Masía La Serra, featuring a characteristic watchtower, date back to the Middle Ages. The estate's own grapes are grown in terraced vineyards surrounded by dry-stone walls, forming a mosaic with local forests and other crops. The vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods integrated with livestock. The wines are produced in a continuously modernized winery and are distributed locally as well as through export and the restaurant sector.
