The Varaschin winery in Valdobbiadene looks back on a history that began in 1930 and is managed today by multiple generations of the family. The vineyards extend across steep hillside plots such as San Pietro di Barbozza, Barbozza, Strazzalede, and Santo Stefano within the UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape of the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills. Cultivation focuses on the Glera grape, supplemented by traditional varieties like Verdiso, with all vineyard work and harvesting performed entirely by hand. The wines undergo vinification using the Martinotti method to preserve the freshness and aromatic profile of the grapes. The portfolio includes Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG.
