About the estate
The family-run Terrazzi Alti estate was founded in 2005 in Sondrio, Lombardy. Its vineyards are located in the Sassella zone on entirely terraced land at an altitude between 420 and 600 meters above sea level. The plots are cultivated according to organic farming principles with exclusively manual labor. The primary variety grown is Nebbiolo, locally known as Ciuvinasca, complemented by small quantities of the autochthonous Rossola and Pignola varieties. The portfolio includes two wines, namely Terrazzi Alti Sassella and Terrazzi Alti Sassella Riserva.
