About the estate
More than 40 years ago, Engelbert Stoffel founded the Terbiner Weinkellerei in Visperterminen, Switzerland. Together with his wife and two children, he farmed around seven hectares of vines and additionally purchased grapes. The historic portfolio included various white and red wines such as the well-known Heida, Pinot Noir, and Fendant. Meanwhile, the founders have stopped working in the vineyards and the cellar. Today, René continues to run the estate, focusing primarily on vinifying about 2,000 liters of Heida annually alongside occasionally produced sparkling wines.
