About the estate

The Tenuta Santa Lucia estate was founded in the late 1960s as an agricultural farm in Mercato Saraceno in the heart of Romagna. Today, the winery cultivates fifteen hectares of vineyards, following a transition to a dedicated wine-focused operation in the late 1990s. Vineyard management adheres to organic and biodynamic methods in harmony with the surrounding environment. The production focuses exclusively on indigenous grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Albana, Famoso, and Centesimino. In the cellar, the winemaking process relies on spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts to craft authentic wines with a strong regional identity.
