About the estate

The Tenuta La Favola estate is located in the southeastern region of Sicily and has been run as a family business for five generations. The history of the property began in 1852 in Buonivini, where organic viticulture is practiced across 19 hectares of vineyards. The wine estates feature calcareous, alluvial, and saline soils where native and international grape varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Frappato, Syrah, Grillo, and Moscato Bianco are cultivated. Cultivation is carried out in harmony with nature, complemented by olive groves and Mediterranean scrub on the property. In the cellar, the winery relies on gentle and minimalist vinification in stainless steel, stone, and sandstone amphorae to preserve the identity of each harvest.

The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Nero d'Avola and Muscat. The estate sells to retail.
