About the estate
The Az. Agr. Assennato estate is based in Sicily, situated in the heart of the region of origin for Nero d’Avola. Since the late 17th century, the winery has been dedicated to producing strong and intense red wines. Winemaking is rooted in ancient Sicilian traditions combined with respect for nature and the organoleptic characteristics of the grape varieties. The portfolio includes wines under the Avola IGT, Eloro DOC, Sicilia DOC, and Terre Siciliane IGT denominations.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Nero d'Avola and Muscat. The estate sells to retail.
