About the estate

The Baglio Curatolo Arini 1875 S.R.L. estate was established in 1875 when founder Vito Curatolo built a winery in the center of his vineyards to produce Marsala wine. Currently managed by the fifth generation of the founder's descendants, it remains the oldest Marsala-producing company still run by the founding family. The vineyards are distributed across several sites in western Sicily, including Contrada Chirchiaro, Contrada Gagliardetta, Contrada Sciarra Soprana, and the coastal area of Marsala. These locations feature varied microclimates and soil compositions, where grape varieties such as Grillo, Inzolia, Catarratto, Zibibbo, Nero d’Avola, and Syrah are cultivated. The portfolio includes iconic Marsala wines alongside single-varietal selections and passito wines distributed on international markets.
