Tenuta Franzona

About the estate

The Tenuta Franzona estate was founded in 1964 by Aldo Carati and his nephew Gilberto Lanzoni in the Imola area. The transformation into a dedicated winegrowing business took place gradually, with the originally mixed agricultural land and orchards being completely converted into vineyards. Today, the estate manages nineteen hectares of vineyards surrounding the winery on the hills of Imola. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 125 meters above sea level in the Tre Monti zone. The estate practices organic agriculture and completely avoids the use of chemical products. The management is carried out by the family across generations, maintaining the tradition and heritage of the property.
