About the estate
The Szentpály winery looks back on a history of around thirty years in viticulture and winemaking. The vineyards and the winery are located in the Balatonboglári Borvidék wine region on the sites of Balatonboglár, Szőlőskislak and Szőlősgyörök. The estate farms an area of twenty hectares and cultivates both white and red grape varieties. The main white varieties include Királyleányka, Olasz rizling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Rizlingszilváni, while the red varieties comprise Merlot, Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. The portfolio features single-varietal wines as well as blends, with a particular emphasis on the Királyleányka variety.
