About the estate
The Bleicher Borászat estate was founded in 2012 on the shores of Lake Balaton in the Balatonboglár wine region and is led by István Tisza. The winery cultivates more than eight hectares of vineyards and produces around 5000 bottles of wine annually. The cultivated grape varieties include Kékfrankos, Zweigelt, Merlot, Királyleányka, and Chardonnay. The wines are crafted using traditional techniques involving hand harvesting and barrel aging. In its viticultural practices, the estate places a strong emphasis on environmental protection, biodiversity, and avoiding the use of weed killers.
