About the estate
The Franz Stierschneider estate in Weißenkirchen in the Wachau looks back on 200 years of winemaking experience and has been run as a family business since 1822. Spanning 12 hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates grapes within the Wachau DAC region. The estate's philosophy focuses on planting the optimal grape variety in the right locations and perfecting the potential of the vineyard all the way into the glass. This long-standing tradition and work in harmony with the natural environment result in a diverse range of wines.
