About the estate
The Soóváry Családi Szőlőbirtok és Borászat estate in Eger was founded in 1982 by the parents and is now managed by the next generation. The vineyards include the historic Kékfrankos alongside Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. In recent years, international varieties such as Sauvignon blanc and Syrah, as well as indigenous varieties like Furmint and Kadarka, have been planted on the Eged hill. The cellar is located in a historic row of cellars in the downtown area of Eger.
