About the estate

The Tóth Ferenc Pincészet winery has been cultivating vineyards in the Eger wine region since 1986. Founded by Ferenc Tóth, the family estate has been managed by his daughter and her husband in the next generation since 2006. The vineyards are located on sites such as Tihamér and Almagyar, which are characterized by a cool climate and volcanic rhyolite tuff soils. A primary focus of the estate is placed on the Kadarka variety, which is also produced as superior wines. In the cellar, the winery relies on gentle processing, yield reduction and careful barrel ageing to preserve the fruit characteristics.
