About the estate
The Società Cooperativa Agricola Terre di Giafar A.m.p. was founded in the summer of 2008 by 14 friends to save the historic Cantina Rinascita from neglect. Today, the cooperative in the province of Trapani in western Sicily brings together 40 members across 200 hectares of vineyards. The vines are cultivated between Mount Erice and the Mediterranean Sea, where significant daily temperature variations and constant sea breezes impart a distinct mineral character to the grapes. The portfolio includes wines under the Erice DOC and Sicilia DOC denominations.
