About the estate
The Signum Blanc OG estate based in Leutschach, South Styria, is the premium brand of the Rothschädl winery. The wines grow on steep vineyards interspersed with tourmaline and are characterised by old vines as well as careful and late manual harvesting. Winemaker Thomas Rothschädl relies on spontaneous fermentation without additives and patient maturation in wood and stainless steel. Depending on the vintage, a maximum of 2,500 bottles of this single-vineyard wine are produced per grape variety. Due to the special terroir, the wines possess decades of aging potential.
