About the estate

The Siegrist estate cultivates around sixteen hectares of vineyards across some eighty different parcels in Leinsweiler in the Palatinate region. The geological faults of the Rhine Graben fracture provide a diverse range of soils at the edge of the Palatinate Forest, including limestone marl, shell limestone, loess loam, and weathered red sandstone. One of the estate's renowned sites is the Leinsweiler Sonnenberg, where viticulture has been practiced for over a thousand years. Cellar master Bruno Schimpf produces a wide range of grape varieties alongside special reserve wines and Große Gewächse. The hallmark of the winery is the figure of Hermes, which adorns all the labels of their wines.
