About the estate
The Seidl estate is a family-run winery located in Schildbach near Hartberg in the Vulkanland Steiermark region, currently managed in the third generation. The south-facing vineyards are situated below the Hartberger Ringkogel and provide the vines with optimal sunlight conditions. Franz Martin, a graduate of the Silberberg viticulture school, is responsible for wine quality and oversees all processes from the vineyard to the bottle. The product range includes Welschriesling DAC among its offerings. In addition to winemaking, the family runs a traditional Buschenschank serving regional food.
