About the estate

The List estate has been managed by the family for seven generations and looks back on a long tradition dating back to 1789. The winery currently cultivates six hectares of vineyards on the steep slopes of the Grassnitzberg in Spielfeld in southern Styria. The soils consist of weathered loamy shell limestone, and the slopes benefit from an optimal south-southeast exposure. All Styrian grape varieties are cultivated in the vineyards, and the grapes are tended with a high degree of manual labor and in harmony with nature. The single-vineyard wines are characterized by their maturity and expressiveness, reflecting the character of the soil.

The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. The estate sells to retail.
