About the estate
The Sebestyén Pince estate currently cultivates 18 hectares of vineyards in the Szekszárd wine region. Emerging from initial hobby winemaking, the operation is run as a family venture with a strong focus on local grape varieties such as Kékfrankos and Kadarka. In addition to these indigenous varieties, the winery also cultivates international grapes including Merlot and Cabernet. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, followed by careful manual grape sorting in the cellar. The red wines are fermented in open vats and aged in oak barrels depending on the variety.
