About the estate
The Dúzsi Pincészet estate in Szekszárd was founded in 1994 and manages 40 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are located notably in the Lányvár site in Sióagárd, featuring loess soils well suited for premium rosé wines, and the Görögszó site known for producing excellent red wines. The grape variety portfolio includes Kékfrankos, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Kadarka, and Syrah, among others. Processing takes place in a landscape-adapted facility built in 2001, which features loess-carved cellars utilized for barrel aging.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate sells to retail.
