About the estate
The Schödl Family estate cultivates vineyards in Loidesthal, Blumenthal, and the Steinberg area, featuring diverse soils such as loess, loam, chalk, sand, and flysch. Located in the Weinviertel region, the vineyards are influenced by a Pannonian climate characterized by hot, dry summers and cold winters, yielding grapes with vibrant freshness and spice. Operating in harmony with nature, the winery focuses on biodynamic practices, utilizing natural compost and maintaining cover crops between the vines to enhance biodiversity. Well-known single vineyards of the estate include In den Kreuthern, Götzenthal, and Steinberg.
The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Noir.
