About the estate

The Schneider winery in Pulkau in the Weinviertel region is run as a family business across multiple generations. The vineyards benefit from geologically diverse soils such as primary rock, loess, loam, and chernozem, as well as a climate featuring numerous hours of sunshine and cool winds flowing from the Waldviertel. The portfolio includes wines from the Weinviertel DAC denomination, Riesling, and Zweigelt, among others. Work in the vineyard and the cellar combines the experience of generations, modern technology, and a careful approach to nature. Vinification is carried out with the aim of producing characterful wines with a distinct sense of origin.

The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany.
