The traditional Schlumberger estate was founded in Austria in 1842 by Robert Alwin Schlumberger. The winery specializes in producing high-quality sparkling wines using the traditional method of bottle fermentation and is considered a pioneer for cultivating French grape varieties in Austria. The sparkling wines mature on the lees in accordance with the strict criteria of the quality pyramid for sparkling wine with a protected designation of origin. Alongside classic cuvées, the portfolio includes hand-crafted specialties such as the Große Reserve as well as organically certified sparkling wines. International distribution is handled through worldwide partners.
