About the estate

The Schloss Plars estate in Algund is run by the family in the third generation and traces its origins back to 1911. Across the diverse vineyards, grape varieties such as Schiava, Lagrein, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Pinot Bianco thrive in a terroir shaped by sunlight and winds. The cultivation combines meticulous manual care in the vineyard with a historic cellar where traditional techniques meet modern methods. Alongside winemaking, the property also houses a hotel, and the portfolio features both expressive red wines and multifaceted white wines.
