About the estate
The Scheibenreif winery is located in Trumau in the Thermenregion and is managed by Franz Scheibenreif. The winemaker deliberately acquired vineyard sites within a ten-kilometer radius, including the Harterberg in Baden as well as locations in Pfaffstätten, Gumpoldskirchen, Traiskirchen, and Oberwaltersdorf. The vineyards are planted according to specific criteria, allowing fourteen different grape varieties such as St. Laurent and Riesling to thrive on their respective soils. The cultivation combines machinery with the manual labor required for premium viticulture. The portfolio includes white wines ranging from dry to sweet as well as dry red wines.
