SCEA Château Carignan

About the estate

The Château Carignan looks back on a history dating back to the eleventh century and is located in Carignan-de-Bordeaux on the Right Bank. The estate covers 65 hectares of vineyards on clay-limestone slopes covered with stony gravel and exposed to the south and southwest. The grape variety selection shows a strong Bordeaux predominance with a majority of Merlot, as well as the noble varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Over the centuries, the property changed ownership several times and has belonged to Andy Lench since 2007. The denomination for the wines is Côtes de Bordeaux.
